Privacy Policy
This policy covers Garcia's Mobile Service and this website. It says what is collected, why it is held and who it goes to. Last updated September 22, 2026.
What we collect
There are three ways information reaches us through this site.
- Orders. The name, email address, billing and delivery address, any company name you give, and the parts and quantities on the order. This is the minimum needed to pick, pack, ship and account for a shipment.
- The contact form. Your name, email address, company if you enter one, and whatever you write in the message. It is used to answer you.
- Technical records. Ordinary server and hosting logs, which include an IP address and a browser user agent, kept for security and for diagnosing faults.
Payment details
Card details are entered with our payment provider at checkout and are handled by them. Full card numbers are not stored on this site and are not visible to us. What we see is the outcome of the payment and the reference that ties it to your order.
Your browser
Your cart is held in your own browser's local storage so the site can show it without a round trip, and it stays on your device. Cookies are used where a page needs to keep you signed in or hold a checkout session together. No advertising profile is built from your visit here.
How the information is used
- To take, fill, ship and account for orders.
- To answer questions about parts, fitment, orders and returns.
- To keep the records a business is required to keep about its sales.
- To keep the site working and to investigate fraud or abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact details to anyone who wants to market to you.
Who it is shared with
Only the parties needed to complete what you asked for: the payment provider that processes the transaction, the carrier that moves the shipment, the hosting and email services that run the site and deliver our replies, and, where the law requires it, a regulator or law enforcement body acting on a valid request.
How long it is kept
Order records are kept for as long as a business needs to keep records of its sales, including for tax and accounting. Contact form messages are kept while the question is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, because the next question about the same truck usually follows the last one.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete information we are not required to keep. Send the request through thecontact form and say which order or message it relates to, so we can find the right record. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights, and we will honour them.

Children
This is a trade parts counter. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means the current version applies.

Use the contact form and put privacy in the message. It reaches the same place every other message does.
